BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM DOULAS
SHALIN BUTTERWORTH
CD(DONA), CPpD, CLEC, Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, Doula Mentor
By providing services as a certified birth doula, certified postpartum doula, and certified lactation educator counselor, and through teaching childbirth classes as an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, I am able to offer comprehensive, compassionate support to all birthing families. Pregnancy and childbirth are normal, natural processes, and I trust the intuitive wisdom and strength of the birthing person. There is not one way to birth, and I believe each family does best when they are informed and supported as they navigate pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.

I have experienced first-hand the transformative power of birth. Today, I am Mom to a happy, curious five-year-old who is a constant reminder of the beautiful simplicity in this world. My teammate-for-life, my husband David, is the steady calm upon which our family floats. In addition to fostering community and connection with expecting families and fellow birth professionals, I enjoy spontaneous outdoor adventures, connecting with nature, cooking, spending time with my family and friends, movement meditation, and crafting and using natural remedies to maintain optimal health. Wellness starts from within, and I prioritize taking care of myself so that I can be fully present and available for my family and the families I serve.
As a birth doula I have been honored with opportunities to support families welcoming their first baby through their fifth, and beyond! I support families of all structures and identities seeking the following pregnancy and birth experiences: hospital, birth center, home, unmedicated, epidural, cesarean, VBAC, multiples, IVF, IUI, teen parents, advanced maternal age, low- risk, high-risk, and more.
It would be a privilege and an honor to walk beside your family as you welcome your littlest addition.

IZZY BONECUTTER
Birth Doula CD(DONA), Postpartum Doula, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist
My birth philosophy is rooted in the belief that the process of growing life, giving birth to your child, and becoming parents may be the most transformational and significant life experience that you will walk through individually and as a partnership.
At the core, my passion in birthwork stems from my desire for families to feel that they maintained their autonomy, that they were heard, that they had a deep understanding, and that they had access to deep support through ~every~ moment of their birthing journey, no matter how the birth unfolds. After supporting nearly 100 new mothers through postpartum support circles and tending to many new families as their postpartum doula, I know that our birth experience directly affects our initiation into Motherhood and our experience of the postpartum period. Though I will never deny the truth that birth is wild and can take unexpected twists and turns, your support should remain stable.
As your doula, I provide consistent, nurturing, and deeply personal support to both you and your partner. It is my hope that you can soften into the experience of childbirth together while finding peace in knowing that you have the hands and heart of your doula by your side.
I would love to connect with your family over a complimentary consultation.
